This is why Market Profile is great. Notice how there was a break out over the POC today, and then a retracement to it, and then BAM! It took off for many many points. I didn't get in on the POC, though it did couple with a signal for entry with my trading plan....I just wasn't focused at the time. Pretty chart

What are you plotting in the bottom pane?
Also which platform are you using ?

Hey Nick,

At the bottom I'm plotting the delta of the bid/ask. So when there's more selling, the line is red, and vice versa. Helps me see if buying or selling is decreasing coming into the pivot points that I use. Also, I'm using InvestorR/T from linnsoft.com.

Chris, if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay for InvestorR/T to get Market Delta and Market Profile? What datafeed to you use? I've been thinking of getting a second trading platform for backup.

Hey Ant,

I just use IRT with Market Profile...I don't use Market Delta with it. I use dtniq for my feed, and all together it's around 130 a month I think.
