I agree that this is a very good posting.

paras, even tradeguider doesn't give buy and sell signals. VSA is the way I trade and in Market Delta I have my bars colour coded to reflect certain conditions. These just give me the 'heads up' that a setup could be forming. It is up to the trader to read the background which cannot be coded and therefore buy and sell signals can only be generated by the trader.

I would encourage you to learn the methodology and join the VSA thread here on TL. Eiger, Tawe Trader and myself have been sharing actual trades with enties. This may help tie in what's happening within amibroker on the alf.

Thanks for posting, this is very valuable especially for beginners who do not want to buy tradeguider.

r u karthak?

if u hve created this than u must know how to use it?
VSA is not a mechanical system u hve to decide ur entry & exit points along with Stop loss

i think there is no need to add any buy & sell signal bcz this is gonna generate hell lot of signals which will affect ur trading..

Nice to know that you find the afl and posts in my blog interesting… I have learnt a lot from this forum and I take this opportunity to thank Dbphoenix . His postings formed the base for my VSA learning. His contribution to VSA is very commendable.

What you said is very true… A mechanical system out of VSA is very difficult… We have to look at the background , support and resistance etc…

I have been experimenting with VSA and had tried to create BUY and SELL conditions based on the background and price action. It is still in experimental stage and I use these for guidance only as of now. By the way It does not too many signals

Enclosing an sample chart…

Hi, you might be mistaking signals for signs of strength and weakness. Half of the signs can be ignored because if you've got strength in the background then you ignore the no demands etc.
As for buy/sell signals, this will have to come from your own setup that you like to see. I only trade the mornings and only get 1-2 entries on a 3min chart.
