A Little Help!

Ok ive been looking at the e-mini for the past few weeks and have been demoing Open E Cry. Is this possible. Say I open multiple positions. Lets say quanity 2 can I have a stop at 10 a tp at 5 and the other say at tp 10 . If the first target is hit which would be 5 ticks is it possible to move the second amount to break even with the other 10 ticks. Honestly I dont know, the guy in the chat tried to explain it to me but I just didnt get it. e-mini is pretty new to me but I like it!!!

Re: A Little Help!

Don - you can do it. I use brackets OCO's all the time.

Give me an actual example and I'll see if I can figure it out. If not, I'll try to find out for you.

PS
Why make things so difficult in the first place?

Re: A Little Help!

Hey brownsfan, I believe he was talking about the strategy button in the option tab. Here is what I was wanting 2,4,6 in the quantity where I can get 2 positions out of it if split in half. would like a stop of 10 ticks and a tp of 5ticks for the first position if the 10ticks is hit Im out. But if the tp is hit I would like to move my stop up to break even and work on the 2nd position for 10 ticks or break even.Which ever comes first. I have never ever scaled out of a position. But since im risking more than ill make who knows, its something i will have to test!

That was me after reading that...

My honest suggestion is this - play around with he strategy button. I think it's pretty easy and I am not nearly as computer literate as others around here.

But, as a side discussion, I was serious with the 'why make this complicated' comment... Just some food for thought.
