ATR Question

I am confused with ATR number on my trading platform, ATR is often showed higher than currency rates

Here's a screen shot . In the screen shot ATR is almost same as rate or even higher, how to correctly calculate/interpret value in ATR indicator?

Many thanks

Before asking questions like this, read up and find out what ATR indicator shows? ATR = Average True Range. It has nothing do with the price level.

A simple google search will give you more than enough information to answer the question yourself. I know this is always easier to just ask someone, but finding out things yourself will be much more benefecial for you in the long run.

Re: ATR Calculation - Confused

Since this thread has nothing to do with VSA and it also adds little to our general trading knowledge, I'd like to delete it. Any objections?

Re: ATR Calculation - Confused

No worries. At Tam's request I'll move over to the coding forum a little later today.

Re: ATR Question

Whoops! I moved this to the wrong forum and I have no moderating ability on this forum. Perhaps one of the mods here can kindly move this to the right place (Technical Analysis)

Thanks
