Bar Check Code

Hello,
I use Trade Station and I am trying to have the code check to see that the price is moving in the right direction with a moving average program.
I find that very often that it will be fooled into going long when the price trend that follows is down or vice versa.
Any help or direction to some code would be greatly appreciated.
It is for the S&P e mini.
Thanks,
Workyboy

Do you have criteria defined for price moving in a certain direction?

For example:
  • 4 higher highs
  • 4 out of 6 higher closes
  • MA moving up for "X" bars
  • MA moving up for "X" bars with no close under
  • (High + Low)/2 price moving up for 5 bars
