Beginner's Luck?

I just started live trading today. I have been paper trading for a while now and decided that (like online poker) I can't get an accurate measure of my behavior or really develop good habits by paper trading. It was great for testing my system, but because there was really nothing at stake, I found myself taking a trade on every little movement on the chart.
So, I'm going to be posting (hopefully everyday, but I have a full-time job and college) and keeping a record of the odd and interesting things that happen in my trading day. Not every little detail is going to be included, but hopefully this will help me to keep on track after a few months or years have passed.
Here's to beginner's luck!

So, I'm finally back. I found that I am actually a really disciplined trader, but I have needs. My roommate and I decided we needed a couch a lot more than I needed to day trade.
So, pulled my money, bought a couch, and then started saving again so that I could restart my day trading like it should be.
Hopefully, you will be hearing from me more often. I am officially going to be keeping a record of my trades from day to day.Posted 12-30-2010 at 02:44 AM by yuppie_money
