It's no longer my fault, its the market

One for the experienced and long in tooth...
Do you find, once you have mastered and understand why the price goes and reverses or continues where it does, grown up and past the point of being un disciplined and conquered all the issues until its a case of humdrum monotony, the only thing standing betwen you and the beach/ holiday/ skydive/ pub/ cricket.... is the market?
Many say you should always be accountable but I have come to a point where I am never at fault, its only the market. My abilities to read price action and 95% correctly ascertain direction only leaves volatility and liquidity to blame.
Maybe its just me but IMO, trading and the markets boil down to one thing alone, supply and demand. Once accepted and appreciated and accordingly worked into a plan, the only thing left is pressing the button at the right times and accepting occasionally, it won't make it back to the other S/R. No longer looking for answers, you just do.
I guess its like enlightenment in a way. You spend years searching for the answers and when you have them, you just do.
This leaves only one thing to answer for; the market, damn market!
I have come to a point where the only thing between me and an endless career in the markets is liquidity, a single currency or every trader in the world going on holiday at once.
Unfirtunately, for the last 2 weeks, thats what its been like!
It's not my fault. It really is all down to the market conditions. Swings and roundabouts till it comes back to life. And that gives me endless inner peace.

What should give you inner peace is the realisation that you are now finding the same pitfalls as loads of otehr people, trading far larger amounts than you.
Unfortunately that zen like state in and of itself won't translate into airmiles ![]() GJ |
