Consumer Confidence in May advanced to the highest level since 2008 (where we were still collapsing from the financial crisis) on the back of an improved labor market. The Conference Board’s confidence index advanced to 63.3 from a downward revision of 57.7 the previous month, exceeding economists’ expectations of 58.5.

Taking a look at the breakdown of the report, the labor differential came in at -39.0 which was the highest since a year ago, while the conference board’s measure...

Hello fellow traders, its been while. Lots of changes happen in my life, difficult choises made, but I am back here as full time options trader. Yes thats right, Ihave finally quitted my job as an accountant in order to pursue my dream of financial freedom away from office space, and far far way from daily commuting. The U.S. economy lost another 36,000 jobs in February and the unemployment rate held at 9.7% according to the non-farm payroll report. Economists were forecasting a loss of 68,00 and a rise in the unemployment rate to 9.8%, as severe weather was expected to have forced some businesses to close.
