How long does it take to setup a trading entity in the USA? where would i do it? and what information would i need to provide?

What kind of entity?

If you're not sure what kind, then you need to consult w/ an attorney versed in trading.

Well, i will be trading for a company that is setting it up for me, the company's trades with a private hedge fund. I want to provide them with the information they need to get started and i want to know how long it would normally take?

What has the company you will be working for/with said to do? If you haven't asked them, then ask the source. From there, you will probably want to consult an attorney if that's needed.
