I'm interested in getting involved in trading, as well as building a personal portfolio, but don't have a lot to invest all at once. The larger companies just laugh at someone lie me who doesn't have a good 25k to slap down on their first visit, so I'm looking to find a good launching point company to start buying and trading with.

What I'm really looking for is a reliable, trustworthy company that won't charge me an arm and a leg in trading fees, or have minimums, that I can use as a jumping-off point for starting my journey as a trader.
