Tradestation - which data service options?

Hi all,

Need some help with TS data service options - which do I need to get YM and NYSE tick data?

Actually, I guess this question is directed more at Soultrader - what data services would I need to achieve a similar setup to your own?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Re: Tradestation - which data service options?

Hi,

All you need is the NYSE data, OPRA, Cbot and CME mini packages, and maybe the Index Data Services.

You need OPRA to get the PC ration. If you are trading the YM only, you wont need the CME packages. I prefer to watch the other contracts. Hope it helps.

Re: Tradestation - which data service options?

NYSE gives access to real time data for anything NYSE listed. $1, which includes $TICK, $TRIN.

OPRA is for options such as the Put/Call ratio, $1

the YM is free for the time being by eCBOT. also gives you access to mini gold and silver.

If you want access to real time CME e-mini's, you can subsribe to their e-mini package for $25 I believe.

It comes in handy to guage whick contract is leading and which is lagging.

You know about the 10 trades a month and the platform fee is waived, $99 saved, but you still get knicked for exchange fees.
