Newbie Question

Hi all,

this is my first post :-) I have inquired the pricing for FTSE index data, but I don't seem to get an answer. Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks so much!

Re: Newbie Question

1...ask your broker or platform
2....do a dummy trade
3....google

However your question - the pricing for FTSE index data.....is not very precise.
Are you looking for the cost per tick, the mechanism for building the index.
Are you looking at a swap/spreadbet or the actual future or the underlying index.
The price is the index - if it is at 5000 then the price is 5000.....

Re: Newbie Question

If you are just starting out on your forex journey I would suggest you read "The Complete Turtle Trader" by Michael Covel. The introductory slideshows on Slideshare are also a great resource. Once you have the basic understanding you can learn strategies at sites such as such Everestforex (great site, very friendly, gives you $100 real money to start with). And of course stay up to date at Bloomberg.com!
