Hey all,

I find myself in a awkward situation.

I have to finish my final paper for my economics degree, and for the second part i have to make a technical indicator. I thought that i could pull it off, but i was wrong.

If someone could help me to program in MQL4 an indicator that calculates the ratio between the average trend over a period and the existing trend, on one hand, and the ratio between the average speed of the trends in a period and the speed of the existing trend, on another, it would be great.

The speed of a trend, i consider to be:
(Close0-CloseT)/Number Of bars

Close0 is the close price of the first bar in the trend and CloseT is the close price of the last bar in the trend.

I've atached the progres i've maid so far.

If someone could take a look and help me in any way, i would be extremely grateful.
