Soultrader's Pivots for Tradestation
This is a Tradestation release for custom pivot points. This indicator has been made to use the following formula:
Soultrader's Pivot Points R3 = R1 + RANGE R2 = PP + RANGE R1 = (2 * PP) - LOW PP = (HIGH + LOW + CLOSE) / 3 S1 = (2 * PP) - HIGH S2 = PP - RANGE S3 = S1 - RANGE Following features: ...

Hi all. My first post (newbie). I love the site and cant express how appreciative I am for all the effort and support in this site. I have been experimenting with pivots a lot and in recent times the volatility has surpassed the s3 and r3 zones. I am new to programming in tradestation and would like to see if anyone could possibly update the "soultrader pivot point" to include a s4 and r4 for daily levels. I am playing with the code a little but am unsuccessful of late. Take care all and happy trading.

Im having problems with this indicator, when I click on the paintbar, I get nothing. Can someone please help me in getting this to work with GOOGLE (maybe yesterday day). If you can please printscreen the input box for GOOGLE that would be very kind of you. Kind regards |

Thank you for the indicator. However it will not give mr the lines.
The values in the imput box consist of all "0". Any ideas. Thank You for your help. Barry |

Soultrader's indicator does not automatically get the High Low and Close for you. You have to type in those values where u see the zeroes. |

Hey,
I appreciate the free indicators and all the hard work you programmers are willing to share. But, when I downloaded the eld and imported into my Trade Station platform, I get nothing. When importing the eld I answered yes to importing the funtion and the paint bar. I got a warning message saying the "LastbarOnChart" function already exisited and I chose not to replace it. After that it looked like the indiactor was in place and I added it to a 5 minute chart and I get nothing. When I go into format the indicator, it says there are no plots (in the style tab). I know I must have screwed something up in the install. Could you give me some advice? thanks, Rick |

and pick the instrument of your choice and find the HLCs and fill them in manually. There are pivot indicators on the TS forum that will calculate the prior HLCs and current pivots automatically.  |
