Mark Fishers "ACD Trading Method", Seminar Videos Wanted.

I watched 1-3 of NYMEX so far. Really great stuff. I think it would certainly help to read the Logical Trader first. Alot of the concepts didn't make much sense to me but were much more clear here, plus he mentions the volatility calulation that he leaves out of the book.
His pivot moving average is an interesting idea. Almost like a moving average of the MP value area.

Do you find previous day's A,C,D levels act as support and resistance for
current day's trading ?

Yes - but I feel rather the daily Pivot-Range-High and PRL act like that.

The reason I ask is that I am trying to look at today's ES low of 1363.5 and
besides Fib clusters, I am trying to find other levels from others sources to support it, be it MP, Pivots ...etc. All I can find is yesterday's C level from Fisher and the Low from 2 days ago. If yesterday's A.C.D levels mean anything, it will make the case that much stronger.

Hi OAC,

Here is a suggestion, try using ganns square of nine support and resistance lines, do the same for squared harmonic numbers, these harmonic price lines do sure work as a good confirmation signal with your fibs and pivots.

Also try using yesterdays entire range and divide by 8 also copy the entire range to the top and bottom of the first range.

I have attached a picture of my current 10 minute chart without the entire fibs for the ACD method.

Maybe it was just luck today, but look at the S2 pivot (modified floor) ...

The S2 Pivot is 50% of yesterdays range off from the yesterdays low = 1363.60

Is the modified floor pivots calculated from High and Low made during NYSE session, 9:30am-4:15pm EST ? I have my numbers that includes the Globex session and S2 is 1361.50. I get my numbers from Mypivots.com

Here's a little piece of interesting info I heard today ... I spent some time in Jack Broz's chat room today on a free invite via email. One person specifically asked if floor traders actually use floor pivots and his reply was priceless - he said if you come down to the floor and find ONE floor trader using them, he'll take you to dinner (your choice of where).

In other words, in Jack's opinion (who is on the floor) pivots are NOT used.

Take it for what it's worth.

As a side note, I was impressed with the brief time I was in Jack's room today. Seems like the real deal and knows his stuff. He was showing his live, real-money dom's with real trades being placed on them. That alone says a lot since many of these other vendors will not do that.
