Posting a New Thread & Reply

Replying to a thread or creating a new thread is easy. There are two options when posting a comment. Quick Reply or Advanced.

Quick Reply - This is a lighter version of the advanced editor. It does not include functions such as attachments but is convenient for a simple reply as it is located directly at the end of each page.



Advanced Editor - The above picture shows the main reply box. Let's go over the boxes labeled from 1 to 10.



Box 1: This box simply changes the font to Bold, Italic, and Underline.
Box 2: This box changes the font, font size, and font color.
Box 3: This box aligns the text from left, center, and right.
Box 4: This button will insert your text in a numbered order. Here is an example:
  1. The following lines are lined up numerically.
  2. The following lines are lined up numerically.
  3. The following lines are lined up numerically.
This button will insert your text in an bulletin order. Here is an example.
  • Text is lined up and indented with a bulletin.
  • Text is lined up and indented with a bulletin.
  • Text is lined up and indented with a bulletin.
and are simple indent buttons. You can use it in the beginning of your line or paragraph.

Box 5: From left to right:

The smiley is the same feature as the smilies on the right hand side of the box.

button is an attachment button. If you want to post a chart or file use this button to upload and paste your files.

The two arrows: and are undo and redo buttons.

, , are used to wrap codes such as html and php. You can use it to wrap any other coding such as Easy Language. This is an example.

Box 6:

This box is used to insert links, email, and images. The first button: is used to insert a link. is used to remove a link from a text. is used to insert an email link. is used to insert image links directly on the post. And is used to quote another members post. Simple wrap the text you want to quote within .

Box 7:

This is a highlighting option. Here are some examples: yellow, orange, green, blue, and red.

Box 8:

Everyone is familiar with smilies

Box 9:

This option is directly linked to the image hosting feature. Members can directly upload and host images of our site. This is a short cut just in case you have an image you want to upload directly on your profile and account. Most ppl usually prefer to use attachments instead.

Box 10:

This box displays the icons inside your thread title. So if you post a happy thread you can use this: If you post an urgent thread you can use this:


Uploading Large Files

Let's say you want to share a large file such as a recording of your trading. Simply use the "Megaupload" feature underneath the reply box.



Files of less than 300mb can be uploaded using megaupload free of charge. This is a thirdy party file uploading site.
