History - Ancient Rome

Anyone here study history on their free time? Lately I've been really interested in Ancient Rome. No specific time, just the whole empire from it's creation to ultimate collapse. Does anyone recommend any good books/websites that I can check out? Thanks..

I know Gibbon's "The History of The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire" is a classic history book but I've never got around to readig it yet. "The Conquest of Gaul" by Cesar would probly be pretty interesting too, another one I'll read someday.
