Hi karthikmarar, i have the following questions:
1- Could please deal with the dividends case. There are two situations:a) when the company pays dividends as money and when the company pays dividends as more shares. In both cases the ex dividend date the price is lower. For example if the company pays 25% more shares then the ex dividend date the share price appears 25% lower than the price before the ex-div date. So we have a down gap.
2- I have read your VSA pdf and downloaded your VPA 1.1 indicator and can not see the support and resistance lines and the colored bands that you show in the pdf. Please could you sned this indicators also?

In case of Bonus or Stock split which increases the number of stocks and the price gaps down we have adjust the chart according to the split ratio. Most software give the facility to do this.

The support and resistance lines are available in VPA 1.1. You have to switch it on from the parameter window. You can also select the number of lines (major or minor support /resistance) from the parameter window.

new version of vpa v 1.2 is uploaded at new site w w w.tatechnics.in i am posting the direct link just because , if anyone has any doubt he/she can contact the author . and there are other few new indicators also [ gussain moving average ,trading volatility-bands[ at presant this for indian market only, but author has decided to release universal formula ],kadx, NMA ...etc..etc..] hope this will be useful
