Excellent work on the new design, I think the logo is great. However, on the forum page, I think it looks too white ( sounds daft ), as in you can't seperate the different categories easy with the eyes, unlike the previous version.

Also for the bug side of it, when I'm reading a thread, it keeps disconnecting me, I've checked other sites to make sure it wasn't just my connection, it only happens on this site, hopefully someone else might be able to back me up on this.

Cheers........Blu-Ray
Hi Blu-Ray,

I personally didnt think it was too white. I will try to ask a designer if we can add a light color scheme pleasant for the eyes in order to view the categories better. I was actually working on adding more graphics per category so users can navigate visually easier. I will let you know.

Regarding the thread viewing... Im not sure what the problem is. It may be that we moved to a new server and your ISP is not updating? Can you try flushing your dns to see if that works? Thanks

Hello SoulTrader, wow! great new design. I very much like it/ So far, the only thing I see is maybe the load time for changing thread or any page on the furum is a little slower than before.

Overall, a very great new design and I really like the different categories on the top. Very easy to navigate through

So, Dear SoulTrader a very great job that you and your team have done

Big congratulations to you:bow down:

Sincerly

Shreem
Thank you very much Shreem. Your comments are very much appreciated.

a+ on the navigation, this seems like a nice logical layout.
Thank you!

Nice job James ¡¡ I may concurr with Blu-Ray on the excesive white background... maybe some very light gray can make it more eyes friendly... but overall site design and functions are very nice...
cheers Walter.
Thank you very much Walter. Yes, this seems to be one issue so far. I will have a solution to this shortly. (too much work lately at the office... will need to get this done this weekend)

James,
Here's my honest feedback:
> The site design is very 'now'. It's visually aesthetic.
> This however does not mean the most functional. For me here, it takes a bit to just load the main page with all the categories and threads. I personally just scroll to the bottom for the most recently posted in threads. It took a little bit for that part to load.

I know that creating a visually pleasing site does not always equate to functionality. I don't think TL is not functional in the sense that it does not work, it just feels clunky to me. It may just take some getting used to. If there's any way to speed up the main page load, that would be great!
Hi brownsfan, I did my best to make the site load faster. This was the best I could do and I had to combine a few threads as well. Ill put some thought into how I can ligthen up the forum categories a bit.

Interesting new design layout. I like it.

Some suggestions:
White background is disturbing on the eyes. Creates eye strain. Make it gray or something less glaring.
On the load page, some of the more recent thread titles are abbreviated for no apparent reason. Perhaps a mouse tag would help by giving the whole title.
The threads appear to have highlighting colors of yellow, green and pink. But I can't seem to figure out what this is related to. Explanation at the bottom about being new,or popular etc., doesn't correlate with anything shown in the thread descriptor.

Some threads have stars before them. Again, doesn't correlate to anything obvious.

If you order threads by number of views, the order appears wrong. Some threads with low views appear at the top of the list (not including stickies) when you arrange in descending order.
Im getting the abbreviation problem fixed as I write this. Regarding the white, I will have someone work on this this weekend. With the thread coloring and stars, I will have an explanation manual typed up tomorrow when i get out of the office. With the number of views problem, I havent looked into this yet but will do this now and if anything I will just disable it if its not functioning correctly.

as far as the white goes, I think it might help out if all the baby blue areas were changed to that shade of blue at the top in the tool bar. I think that might be part of the problem, like the color to the side of the reply box is so light it almost looks white itself. When you click on traders blog at the top it has a wonderfull color scheme. I think that might be more pleasant if applied to more areas.
Thank you darthtradar. Can you elaborate on the blog color scheme? I would like to have an idea so I can perhaps use this color scheme for the forums. Thanks

Thank you all for your feedbacks. Any bugs or issues listed will be considered a priority and will do my best to fix things up.
